Reason for Seeking Public Office:

I am running for State Representative because I every day I see issues and failures on the state level that impact my friends, family and neighbors that I currently cannot affect as a Councilman. After 29 years in the community, and 10 years on the Wolverine Lake Village Council, I've come to believe that all politics are local. On council, I don't worry about partisanship, I work to build consensus and produce results to improve our community. This is the common sense we need in Lansing.
