Reason for Seeking Public Office:

First and foremost, I care about people. I understand what it means to struggle in life. There are some basic needs that we all have in order to be successful. We all need a belief system that guides our life. The wonderful thing about America is that we can choose that belief system for ourselves. We need a way to support ourselves and our families. This encompasses education and jobs. Fairness and equality in the workplace is extremely important, from hiring practices to compensation. We need a healthcare system that insures health care for all and doesn't bankrupt citizens because of a major illness or accident.

As your state representative I would focus on jobs, education and health care. Rural areas have unique challenges that I will work hard to address. I will be available to talk with the people of this district and listen to your concerns. If you elect me I will go to Nashville as a Public Servant, always keeping in mind those for whom I am working.
