This article explores the problems associated with growing seafood consumption and seafood fraud and discusses how businesses can protect themselves and consumers by dealing
with local suppliers, in order to better manage the supply chain. It suggests an emerging model of
supply, the Community Shared Fishery, to combat seafood fraud and its consequences.
