Reason for Seeking Public Office:
I am a first-time candidate who has no outside interests, who is focused and invested on representing YOU!
When I first left to study at Ithaca College, I told myself I would never come back to live in Maine. I did not think there was anything Maine could offer me post-graduation. Every time I came back to Maine for breaks, I realized how much I loved the state. I am committed to Maine and the amazing people in it.
The legislature needs a fresh, younger perspective. That is exactly what I bring.
I am not a politician, but I am committed to statesmanship. I will listen to your needs and then go to Augusta to fight for them.
Our legislature is broken, with stalemates between between Democrats and Republicans meaning nothing gets done. That needs to change. Legislators need to relearn to compromise if we are ever to get things done. I can help them to do this, as I have learned this art in my career thus far.
Our voices have been lost, and we are not properly represented.
I want to help keep Maine's younger generations in the state. Maine is the oldest state in the country in terms of age of citizens.
I am a no-nonsense candidate. There is no time to waste, especially when it comes to representing your needs and concerns. The legislature needs to be more productive in solving the problems regarding Maine.
