Reason for Seeking Public Office:

Voters deserve a choice between competing sets of ideals and values. Someone who can represent their hopes and expectations, being their voice in representative government. Voter apathy develops when one party dominates to the exclusion of other ideas, which deserve a clear expression, a clear choice. I am running to offer a choice from the same tired point of view presented by the incumbent, a throw back to a prior time. We need new common sense solutions, new ideas, new directions to help our students receive a quality education which prepares them for a life of work and community involvement, quality accessible and affordable healthcare, which places the patient and doctor at the center of the care. We need safe communities with a national defense and security strategy that places protecting American citizens at the forefront.
