At the local government level, Rebarchak has focused on improving quality-of-life services while cutting costs by: instituting a program that helps ensure vacant properties do not fall into disrepair; improving the walkability of neighborhoods; introducing a program to reduce the number of stray and feral cats; improving yard waste collection; and returning a free neighborhood parks program to additional areas of the township.
Rebarchak, a graduate of King's College, is a board member of the Kiwanis Club of Harrisburg and has volunteered in the Susquehanna Township School District for more than 15 years.
