Reason for Seeking Public Office:
America has always thrived when the middle class has flourished. I am running because the working families and the small businesses of the 50th District deserve someone who will represent their interests and not the interests of special interest groups and lobbyists. I support a pro-family agenda to help the working class while still promoting responsible business growth. Our legislature has to stop favoring millionaires and corporate interests over the well-being of the middle class.
I am not a politician, and I don't come from a family of politicians. I won't play party politics, and I won't be bound by the corporate interests that contribute to my campaign. I am the outsider who will work hard for working families.
Working families should be able to find work and earn a livable wage. They should be able to buy a home and to know that they are not going to fall into foreclosure. They should be able to send their children to a good school. They should be able to afford health care, to save for retirement, and to help their children go to college. They should feel safe in their homes, and they should be able to drive on safe roads and bridges.
With these goals accomplished, the middle class will thrive. And, I will fight every day to make sure that the families of the 50th District realize these goals.
