Priority Issues:
ives, District 25. Through my education, 30 years business experience and a great desire to help improve Mississippi, I feel that I am the best candidate for the job. Mississippi has been at the bottom, especially in education, for way too long! We have one of the highest poverty rates in the country and this is directly related to our education system. It will only be through change that Mississippi can shine in it's glory and become a leader among states by setting excellent examples for others to follow.
If given the honor to be chosen by the citizens of District 25, I will follow these principles:
*Devotion to quality education
*Placing ideas and principles above personal desire
*Quest for the truth for the benefit for all
*Intolerance to corruption
*Recognize and utilize the benefits of competition and hard work
*Teach self help rather than government dependence
*Devotion to the principle of justice
*Support self defense
*Efficiency
*Self reliance and being able to keep the fruits of ones labor
*Recognize the power of free market
*Tax cuts benefit all
*Promote the dignity of every human life
We must stand together and demand a better Mississippi! We need to support necessary changes to improve our educational system, improve our revenues, promote business and cut taxes. It's Mississippi's time! Please allow me the honor of your vote and I will assure you that I will look out for what is best for Mississippi and all of our citizens.
Reason for Seeking Public Office:
I am running for a seat in the Mississippi House of Representatives. Some ask, "Why now?" Simply put, I never had the time or the money to run for office. Now, thanks to a lot of hard work and risk taking on my part, I have both. I absolutely love my state! I am willing to spend my time, and I don't mean just during "session", and my money to help make a "positive" difference in the state. I am in no ones pocket! I have a great education and 30 years of business experience. I am a Christian and don't fear persecution! I truly care about you. I believe Mississippi has been run into the ground for decades by selfish, egotistical "politicians". I will know why you chose me and who I work for. My interest is for all citizens of Mississippi but most importantly the citizens of District 25. Look around. Is our district receiving as much as other districts? I think not? Have the past representatives of District 25 helped bring more business to the area and created more jobs? I think not! Look around! The proof is in the pudding! I don't see it. Elect me as your next representative and that is exactly what you will get! Your representative!
