Reason for Seeking Public Office:

I believe that a state representative should do the work of his constituents and not follow directives of powerful outside interest groups.

I believe that cancer and affordable treatment is a right. A bill to give cancer victims affordable treatment should not have been amended or delayed to sooth the needs of the lobbyist.

I believe that Wisconsin's tradition of heavy voter turnout and a fair and balanced electoral processes is something to be proud of and protected. A special session to suppress the vote is unnecessary and wasteful given that all the evidence shows little to no voter fraud.

I am concerned with the movement towards less protection for citizens by their government.

I believe in a decent wage and fair benefits for workers.

I believe that big money has a corrupting influence on our current representative who is a member of the American Legislative Exchange Council. This group has crafted many of our current laws to favor large corporations at the expense of the average American.

I believe in funding education at all levels. I believe that the technical colleges will recreate our shrinking middle class and that they should be affordable.
