Reason for Seeking Public Office:

I am running as a Democrat for House District 85 because it is the party that does things for people. I am a working class candidate; I've worked as a highway construction grade setter most of my life. I am now and have always been a union member. I am a Montana native, a veteran, and a hunter. In the legislature ,if elected, I will work to protect hard fought worker's rights. I believe in the expansion of Medicaid and I will continue to work to implement and improve on affordable health care for all. Protecting our children's right to a free and public education as well as protecting our national forests from privatization are among the many reasons I am throwing my hat in the ring even though I have no prior political experience.
