Theodore Roosevelt:
He was thoughtful, intelligent and would stand his ground if he felt in the right. He sought out first hand experiences to better understand the world and used these lessons to guide his actions. He used logic as his compass and did not bend to the will of politics. He also worked hard to balance business and conservation, economy and environment, against each other, as both are important to the future of our country and world

Reason for Seeking Public Office:

I am District 22. I was born here, my family and friends live here, in my opinion there is no better district to call home. I have always loved politics, sociology and history and finally became fed up with endless debate and discussion with friends and family about what is wrong with our government. I took a hard look inside and said "I can't continue to stand idle. Why not try to change things for the better?" We need new blood in the Captial; new ideas and new voices!
