Reason for Seeking Public Office:
For the past 4 years, Kansas has been under the control of anti-government Tea Party Republicans, who brought the state to financial ruin. They have tried to employ "Trickle down economics", and have cut services that are hurting the poor and vulnerable in our great state. I wish to join other, more moderate Democrats and Republicans to restore financial sanity to our state.
