Our public pension system is verging on an economic catastrophe. We have weathered a 67 percent income tax increase that does not pay our bills because of increased spending. Responsible fiscal priorities must be implemented in Springfield to protect what we can offer our future generations.
I take pride in serving as a career prosecutor. I have dedicated myself to making Lake County a safer place for families and our children. However the laws and tools that we provide to law enforcement are erratic and flawed. I will bring the sensibilities of a justice focused prosecutor to the House chambers.
Our communities are suffering because of patronage boards that limit our access to important services like health care. The fact that geographically half of Lake County does not have a local hospital because of a group of out of touch bureaucrats is unacceptable and must be changed.
I look forward to engaging with my neighbors in the 62nd Legislative District and discussing how together we can build a better future for Illinois.

Reason for Seeking Public Office:

My decision to run for this office is rooted in my upbringing. As the eldest son of immigrants, I learned that providing a better life for future generations must always be one of our greatest priorities. My parents instilled this value with every sacrifice they made to provide me with an education at Carmel High School and later at the University of Notre Dame and Georgetown.
But when I look at the decisions by our state government, I don't see a focus on my children or my neighbors' children. The state of Illinois needs to re-focus its priorities.
