Title: Requires Highway Remediation and Cleanup Operators to Have Insurance Coverage
Vote to pass a bill that requires highway remediation and cleanup operators to have insurance coverage in Oklahoma.
Prohibits operators or employees from soliciting business for or engaging in highway remediation and cleanup services without the operator first having obtained at least $3,000,000 of liability insurance coverage (Sec. 1).
Requires proof of such coverage to be submitted to the Department of Environmental Quality at the time of the application for a license or renewal of such license (Sec. 1).
Specifies that this act shall take effect November 1, 2026 (Sec. 2).
