Vote to pass a bill that prohibits businesses that contract with ICE from receiving state-provided loans in California.

Highlights:

• Prohibits a business entity that contracts with the federal government for immigration enforcement from receiving any state-provided grant or loan (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits such business entities from receiving any state tax credit (Sec. 2-3)

• Prohibits any taxpayer who invests in, owns, or manages a private detention facility from being assigned any state tax credit (Sec. 2-3).

• Exempts healthcare providers from the provisions of this act (Sec. 2-3).
