Highlights:

• Amends language in existing law to reflect the consolidation of the offices of Orleans Parish Criminal District Court Clerk and Orleans Parish Civil District Court Clerk into one consolidated office of the clerk of court (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits the dismissal of an employee of the clerk of the Criminal District Court from being discharged from employment before January 15, 2027 without good cause (Sec. 1).
