Highlights:

• Prohibits primary or secondary educational institutions, child care providers, or medical providers from withholding information from parents related to their minor child’s expressed interest in sex transition procedures (Sec. 1).

• Requires covered entities to notify the minor’s parents within 72 hours of receiving any request from the minor for any of the following (Sec. 1):

• A desire to be referred to by pronouns or titles that don’t correspond with the minor student’s biological sex;

• A desire to be referred to by names other than the minor’s legal name;
