Title: Establishes Community Engagement Requirements for Medicaid Recipients
Vote to pass a bill that establishes community engagement requirements for Medicaid recipients in Idaho.
Requires Medicaid eligibility to be expanded to those under sixty-five years of age whose adjusted-gross income is 133% below federal poverty level and lower, and who are not eligible for any other coverage under the state plan (Sec. 1).
Authorizes the Senate and House of Representatives health and welfare committees to review the effects of reductions and make recommendations as to whether Medicaid eligibility should be expanded if financial participation of individuals is reduced below the 90% commitment threshold (Sec. 1).
Requires the Department to implement a community engagement requirement no later than December 31, 2026 (Sec. 1).
Requires an individual to demonstrate compliance with community engagement guidelines, and requirements for 3 consecutive months to enroll in Medicaid (Sec. 1).
Authorizes the department to disenroll an individual from Medicaid if they are not demonstrating compliance with community engagement guidelines and requirements for 3 consecutive months (Sec. 1).
Specifies that this Act takes effect upon passage (Sec. 2).
