Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funds to the Idaho Department of Health and Human Services for fiscal year 2027.
Appropriates $5.66 billion to the Idaho Department of Health and Human Services, including the following totals to individual departmental divisions (Sec. 1):
$121.5 million to the Division of Youth Safety & Permanence;
$101.9 million to the Division of Early Learning & Development;
$132.3 million to the Division of Welfare;
$5 billion to the Division of Medicaid;
$105.7 million to the Division of Public Health Services;
$47.8 million to the Division of Indirect Support Services;
$26.6 million to the Division of Substance Abuse Treatment & Prevention;
$43.2 million to the Division of Mental Health Services;
$68.3 million to the Division of Psychiatric Hospitalization; and
$15 million to the Division of Independent Councils.
Specifies the number of full-time equivalent positions authorized for the divisions, councils, and programs of the Idaho Department of Health and Human Services (Sec. 2).
Specifies that this Act takes effect July 1, 2026 (Sec. 28).
