Title: Establishes Requirements for Individuals to Obtain Public Mugshots and Law Enforcement Videos

  • Requires an individual who requests photos or videos from law enforcement to identify first and last name of the individual depicted and a statement outlining the usage of the photograph and/or video (Sec. 1). 

  • Restricts access of photographs or videos to the pictured individual or an attorney (Sec. 1). 

  • Prohibits active investigation or prosecution records from being available for public release, excluding initial police or incident reports, until litigation concludes (Sec. 2).
