Title: Prohibits the Use of A.I to Create Sexual Content of Minors
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the use of A.I to create sexual content of minors in Alaska.
Defines the distribution of forged digital likeness as a person knowingly distributing content with the intent to defraud, harass, threaten, or intimidate another person (Sec. 1).
Specifies that a person who commits this crime be charged with first degree harassment if the content depicts the other person engaged in a sexual act (Sec. 3).
Classifies the possesion of generated obscene child sexual abuse material as a class C felony (Sec. 5).
Classifies the distribution of sexual abuse material including a minor as a class A felony (Sec. 6).
Exempts an interactive computer service, internet service provider, cloud service provider, or telecommunications network from violation if they possess prohibited material for the purpose of preventing, detecting, or reporting prohibited material (Sec. 8).
Specifies that this act takes effect on January 1st, 2027 (Sec. 30).
