Vote to pass a bill that establishes a ballot initiative to require precinct-based voting in Arizona.

Highlights:

• Prohibits election precincts from containing more than 2,500 voters at the time that they are designated (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits the Board of Supervisors of any county from authorizing the use of voting centers in place of or in addition to specifically designated polling places (Sec. 1).

• Repeals the authorization for county recorders to establish on-site early voting locations at the recorder’s office or other locations the recorder deems necessary (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits early votes from being cast or tabulated at voting centers, and specifies that early voting may take place at designated polling places (Sec. 1).

• Requires the Secretary of State to submit the provisions proposed by this Act to the voters at the next general election in Arizona (Sec. 2).
