Title: Establishes a Ballot Initiative to Require Precinct-Based Voting
Vote to pass a bill that establishes a ballot initiative to require precinct-based voting in Arizona.
Prohibits election precincts from containing more than 2,500 voters at the time that they are designated (Sec. 1).
Prohibits the Board of Supervisors of any county from authorizing the use of voting centers in place of or in addition to specifically designated polling places (Sec. 1).
Repeals the authorization for county recorders to establish on-site early voting locations at the recorder’s office or other locations the recorder deems necessary (Sec. 1).
Prohibits early votes from being cast or tabulated at voting centers, and specifies that early voting may take place at designated polling places (Sec. 1).
Requires the Secretary of State to submit the provisions proposed by this Act to the voters at the next general election in Arizona (Sec. 2).
