  • Specifies that this section does not require a licensed firearms dealer or a law enforcement agency to accept a firearm for storage (Sec. 1).

  • Establishes immunity from civil action for licensed firearms dealers and law enforcement agencies that store firearms (Sec. 1).

  • Authorizes a court to award reasonable costs and attorney’s fees to an individual from whom a stored firearm is illegally withheld following a demand for the firearm’s return (Sec. 1).

  • Specifies that any information submitted in an application or agreement to store a firearm is confidential (Sec. 1).
