Highlights:

• Requires ports to publish the following information with regard to the entry of trucks (Sec. 1):

• The name of the port and the gate used for entry;

• The time of entry;

• The truck owner’s name;

• The SCAC code;

• Whose authority was used for entry;

• Name insured on the truck’s insurance policy; and

• Truck’s Department of Transportation number.

• Requires trucking companies to provide the following information to the port of entry (Sec. 2): 

• Truck worker’s compensation insurance policy;

• The number of truck workers covered by the insurance policy; and

• Affirmation that the company is withholding taxes from the wages of truck workers.
