Vote to pass a bill that prohibits harassment, bullying, and cyberbullying of students by other students on school property or at school functions in New York.

Highlights:

• Establishes this bill to be known as the Jack Reid Law: Protect All Students Act. (Sec. 1)

• Specifies that all students in a nonpublic school are to have a bullying and harassment free environment (Sec. 2a).

• Defines bullying and harassment as the creation of a hostile environment due to threats, intimidation, or abuse (Sec. 2a).

• Requires schools to adopt an anti-bullying and harassment policy (Sec. 2a).

• Specifies that the policy must be posted to the school's website, parent and student portals (Sec. 2a).

• Requires school staff who’ve received a report of bullying or harassment, whether written or oral, to report to the principal no later than 2 days from the initial report (Sec. 2a).
