Vote to amend and pass a bill that establishes new wildfire prevention measures in California.

Highlights:

• Defines environmentally sensitive vegetation management as vegetation management that reduces wildfire risk over a long period of time while supporting native wildlife and biodiversity (Sec. 2).

• Defines type conversion as the process of dominant native plant species being significantly reduced or destroyed, and nonnative species colonizing the area, due to disturbance (Sec. 2).

• Specifies that the removal of native species to make room for more native species is not included in this definition (Sec. 2).
