Vote to pass a bill that establishes reforms intended to modernize and strengthen Pennsylvania's problem-solving courts.

Highlights:

• Establishes treatment courts and specifies that this includes veteran courts, drug courts, mental health courts, and DUI courts (Sec. 1).

• Establishes a statewide treatment court coordinator (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that the treatment court coordinator may aid in the establishment of treatment courts in each judicial district, identify funding for the treatment court and other related services, provide coordination and technical assistance for grant applications, develop guidelines for the administration of treatment courts, and create procedures for monitoring treatment courts (Sec. 1).
