Title: Prohibits the Possession and Use of Machine Gun Conversion Devices
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the possession and use of machine gun conversion devices, commonly known as "Glock switches" or "auto-sears," in Pennsylvania.
Defines “machinegun conversion device” as a part or combination of parts designed to accelerate the rate of fire of a semiautomatic firearm to simulate the rate of fire of a machinegun (Sec. 1).
Expands the list of prohibited offensive weapons under existing code to include machinegun conversion devices (Sec. 1).
Requires the Attorney General to provide notice of the contents of this Act to the Legislative Reference Bureau for publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin (Sec. 2).
Specifies that this Act takes effect 30 days after publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin (Sec. 3).
