Title: Establishes Legal Protections to Victims of Human Trafficking Who Were Forced to Commit Crimes
Vote to pass a bill that establishes legal protections to victims of human trafficking who were forced to commit crimes.
Establishes that victims of human trafficking who were forced or coerced into committing a criminal act may utilize this information to establish an affirmative defense in a court of law (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 2).
