Vote to pass a bill that authorizes a special logo to promote majority veteran-owned businesses in Pennsylvania.

Highlights:

• Requires the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs to develop and design an official veteran-owned business logotype no later than 90 days after the effective date of this paragraph (Sec. 2).

• Specifies that the logo may not contain any language that may be construed as an endorsement by the state (Sec. 2).

• Requires the Department to develop an application and criteria to determine eligibility for the logotype (Sec. 2).

• Requires the Department to establish a fee of up to $250 for use and display of the logotype to be deposited into the Military Family Relief Assistance Fund (Sec. 2).

• Requires the Department to determine eligibility for the logotype within 60 days of application, and publish a public database of veteran-owned businesses that have been awarded the logo (Sec. 2).

• Specifies that this Act takes effect September 1, 2026, or upon its passage, whichever is later (Sec. 4).
