Vote to adopt a conference report and pass a bill that restricts foreign land ownership around military bases in Kansas and prohibits the purchase of drones manufactured in certain countries

Highlights:

• Defines “counties of concern” as to include the following (Sec. 2):

• The People’s Republic of China, including Hong Kong;

• The Islamic Republic of Iran;

• The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea;

• The Russian Federation; and

• The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

• Specifies that counties of concern shall not include Taiwan (Sec. 2).

• Defines related terms and criteria (Sec. 2-13).

• Prohibits foreign principals from investing in real property within 100 miles of military installations located in Kansas and adjacent states (Sec. 3).
