Title: Requires Training and Procedures for Health Care Employers to Investigate and Report on Incidents of Workplace Violence

    • The change in the number of incidents compared to the previous report.

  • Prohibits health care facilities from requiring any worker to wear an identification badge that includes their last name (Sec. 8).

  • Requires covered health care entities to implement flagging systems to communicate potential threats of violence or disruptive behavior using health record flags and visual flags (Sec. 9).

  • Requires all hospitals in Oregon to install a bullet-resistant barrier or enclosure at each emergency room intake area (Sec. 10).
