Vote to concur with House amendments and pass a bill that amends funding for the California Cannabis Tax Fund, the Department of Cannabis Control, and for Board of State and Community Corrections grants.

Highlights:

• Requires the Controller to disburse money from the California Cannabis Tax Fund for costs incurred by the Department of Cannabis Control in operating the track and trace program for enforcement against unauthorized commercial cannabis activity (Sec. 1).

• Repeals the prohibition on the Board of State and Community Corrections against making grants to local governments that ban both indoor and outdoor commercial cannabis cultivation, or the retail sale of cannabis (Sec. 1).

• Authorizes the Board to make grants to local governments that ban cannabis cultivation if they either allow the retail sale of cannabis in storefronts, or allow the delivery of cannabis if the jurisdiction has 10,000 residents or less (Sec. 1).
