Highlights:

• Appropriates $14.3 billion in funding for the fiscal year 2025-2026 state budget in Rhode Island, including, but not limited to (Sec. 1):

• $15 million for the state bus transit system;

• $45 million for additional Medicaid reimbursements for primary care (paid for primarily with a $4-per-month per-person fee on health insurance;

• $38 million for state hospitals; and

• $12 million into nursing homes

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect beginning July 1, 2025 (Sec. 1).
