Vote to amend and pass a bill that prohibits the intentional release, or dispersion of chemicals (chemtrails) into the environment with the express purpose of affecting temperature in Louisiana.
Prohibits release of any chemicals or apparatus into the air to affect the weather, climate, temperature, or sunlight ( Sec. 1, R.S. 30:2057(A)(3)).
Exempts dispersals below 1,000 feet for fire suppression and agricultural or forestry purposes, such as using seeds, fertilizers, or pesticides (Sec. 1).
Requires and directs the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality to receive and publicly post reports of violations via electronic submittal (Sec. 1(a)-(c)).
Repeals Chapter 25 of Title 37 (R.S. 37:2201-2208), which previously regulated related atmospheric activities (Sec. 2).
