Title: Authorizes Health Care Providers to Discuss Psilocybin Services by Licensed Facilitators as Treatment Options
Vote to pass a bill that authorizes health care providers to discuss psilocybin services by licensed facilitators as treatment options in Oregon.
Authorizes certain health care providers to discuss and provide psilocybin services (Sec. 1-18).
Authorizes information sharing between state boards, changes Oregon Psilocybin Advisory Board membership (Sec. 1-18).
Requires psilocybin product labels to list the psilocin potency in the product (Sec. 1-18).
Prohibits licensees of certain health professional regulatory boards from disciplining licensees for providing psilocybin services as licensed psilocybin service facilitators or for discussing while providing the health care or behavioral health care services the provider is authorized to provide (Sec. 1-18).
Authorizes health care providers to discuss psilocybin services with clients or patients and to provide psilocybin services if the health care provider is a licensed psilocybin service facilitator (Sec. 1-18).
Authorizes the Oregon Health Authority and certain health professional regulatory boards to share information relating to complaints and discipline, but otherwise requires confidentiality (Sec. 1-18).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 19).
