Title: Requires Parole Board to Consider Specified Photographs in Parole Suitability Hearings for Individuals With a Life Sentence
Vote to pass a bill that requires the parole board to consider specified photographs in a parole suitability hearing for an incarcerated person with a life sentence.
Requires that the California Board of Parole consider any crime scene photographs, autopsy photographs, and photographs of weapons which have been submitted for use in parole hearings prior to granting an individual parole (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 2).
