Vote to adopt a conference report vote and pass a bill that authorizes reduced and discounted hunting and fishing licenses for individuals 65 and older in Kansas.

Highlights:

• Authorizes reduced and discounted hunting and fishing licenses at no more than ⅛ the fee for a general combination lifetime hunting and fishing license for individuals 65 and older in Kansas (Sec. 1-4).

• Reduces the amount charged for lifetime hunting and fishing licenses for children 5 and younger to $300 and for those children ages 6 to 15 to $400 (Sec. 1-4).

• Prohibits non-residents from hunting migratory waterfowl on public lands during the hunting season except on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays (Sec. 1-4).

• Increases certain hunting fees (Sec. 1-4).

• Requires the Department of Wildlife and Parks to report to the House and Senate committees on Agriculture and Natural Resources on the impact of limiting out-of-state waterfowl hunters (Sec. 1-4).

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and publication in the state registrar (Sec. 6).
