Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that requires a parent/guardian, foster parent or kinship placement have access to their minor child's medical records in West Virginia.

Highlights:

  • Authorizes a parent, guardian, foster parent, or kinship to access health records of their minor child unless otherwise ordered by a court or under the following (Sec. 1):

    • The minor child has graduated from high school or equivalent;

    • The minor child is emancipated; or

    • The minor child is married.
