Title: Prohibits the Use of Public School Facilities to Provide Shelter to Undocumented Immigrants
Vote to adopt a conference report and pass a bill that prohibits the use of the facilities of a public elementary school, a public secondary school, or an institution of higher education in New Hampshire to provide shelter for undocumented immigrants who have not been admitted into the United States.
Prohibits the use of any facilities of a public elementary school, a public secondary school, or an institution of higher education for providing shelter or housing to undocumented immigrants in New Hampshire (Sec. 2).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill exempt short-term emergency shelter necessary as a result of disasters (Sec. 1)
Repeals previous provisions requiring all Department of Health and Human Services contracts to comply with the Patients’ Bill of Rights under all circumstances, effective November 30, 2026 (Sec. 4).
Specifies that the remainder of this bill shall take effect 60 days after its passage (Sec. 5).
