Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the Secretary of State's office to contract with federal and state agencies, as well as private entities, for voter roll verification for elections in Iowa, effective January 1, 2026.

Highlights:

• Amends and modifies provisions related to statewide voter registration systems and records to authorize the Secretary of State’s office to contract with federal agencies, state agencies, and private entities for voter roll verification and maintenance in Iowa (Sec. 39). 

• Specifies steps for setting an individual's voter registration status as “unconfirmed” when it has been determined that the individual is not qualified to vote (Sec. 41).
