Highlights:

• Requires hospitals that accept payments under Chapter 20, Article 1 must place a statement on the patient's admission or registration form specifying if they are a US citizen or lawfully present in the US, or are not lawfully in the US (Sec. 1).

• Requires that each hospital submit a quarterly report to the Department within 30 days after the end of each calendar quarter regarding the patient's citizenship status (Sec. 1).
