Title: Prohibits Individuals from Entering Restrooms, Changing Rooms and Sleeping Quarters Designated for the Opposite Sex
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits individuals from entering restrooms, changing rooms, and sleeping quarters designated for the opposite sex in Arkansas.
Prohibits individuals from entering restrooms, changing rooms, and sleeping quarters designated for the opposite sex in shelters and all public buildings in Arkansas including both adult and juvenile correctional facilities (Sec. 1-5).
Defines “sex” for this bill as an individual’s biological sex, either male or female (Sec. 1-5).
Defines “male” for this bill as an individual who naturally has, had, will have, or would have but for a congenital anomaly or intentional or unintentional disruption of the reproductive system that at some point produces, transports, and utilizes sperm for fertilization (Sec. 1-5).
Defines “female” for this bill as an individual who naturally has, had, will have, or would have but for a congenital anomaly or intentional or unintentional disruption of the reproductive system that at some point produces, transports, and utilizes eggs for fertilization (Sec. 1-5).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 6).
