Title: Authorizes the Placement of Juvenile Offenders in Adult Prisons
Vote to pass a bill that authorizes the placement of juvenile offenders in adult prisons in Washington.

Authorizes the Department of Children Youth & Families (DCYF) to transfer individuals convicted in adult court to the custody of the Department of Corrections when continued placement of the person in a DCYF facility presents a significant safety risk to others in the facility, and certain persons when the population of the institution exceeds 105% of the rated bed capacity (Sec. 1-11).
Authorizes the facility to send older inmates to Department of Corrections facilities in some cases to handle overcrowding (Sec. 1-11).
Requires judges to make individual decisions based on the evidence of whether total confinement is necessary to protect public safety (Sec. 1-11).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 12).
