Vote to pass a bill that authorizes private citizens to sue individuals who perform or promote drag performances in Montana.

Highlights:

• Authorizes private citizens who attend drag shows to bring civil actions against individuals who perform or promote drag performances up to 3 years after the performance took place in Montana and receive (Sec. 1-2):

• Actual damages, including damages for psychological, emotional, economic, and physical harm;

• Reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred in bringing the action; and

• Statutory damages of $5,000.

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor and any previous legislation found to conflict shall be repealed (Sec. 4).
