Vote to pass a bill that requires an individual convicted of child trafficking to pay restitution immediately, and would authorize the seizure of their assets in lieu of payment in Wisconsin.
Specifies that if the defendant is sentenced or placed on probation for human trafficking, the court must require restitution to be paid immediately and, if the defendant fails to pay immediately, the court must issue an execution against the defendant's property (Sec. 1-2).
Requires that in addition to completing his or her term of imprisonment or probation for the crime, a person must have paid all fines, costs, fees, surcharges, and restitution, and have completed any court-ordered community service, imposed in connection with the crime (Sec. 1-2).
Specifies a person disqualified from voting, to gain voting rights again, must complete their terms of imprisonment or probation along with paying all fines, costs, fees, surcharges, and restitution, along with having completed any court-ordered community service which was imposed in connection with the crime (Sec. 1-2).
