• Defines this bill as the Mississippi Statewide Data Exchange Act and specifies it shall establish a centralized database for the state of Mississippi to reduce threats from hackers and scammers (Sec. 1-2).

• Require the Department of Information Technology Services to Conduct a Comprehensive Study on the Implementation of a Statewide Data Exchange Initiative and to direct it to coordinate with State Agencies to assess data-sharing needs, operational requirements, and policy considerations (Sec. 1-2).
