Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that establishes the Religious Freedom Restoration Act to limit governmental actions that burden religious freedom in Wyoming.

Highlights:

• Prohibits the state action from substantially burdening a person's right to the exercise of religion, even if the burden  results from a rule of general applicability, unless it is demonstrated that applying the burden to that person's exercise of religion in these particular instances is (Sec. 1):

• Essential to further a compelling government interest; and 

• The least restrictive means of furthering that compelling government interest.

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 2).
