Title: Establishes the Religious Freedom Restoration Act
Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that establishes the Religious Freedom Restoration Act to limit governmental actions that burden religious freedom in Wyoming.
Prohibits the state action from substantially burdening a person's right to the exercise of religion, even if the burden results from a rule of general applicability, unless it is demonstrated that applying the burden to that person's exercise of religion in these particular instances is (Sec. 1):
Essential to further a compelling government interest; and
The least restrictive means of furthering that compelling government interest.
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 2).
