Vote to pass a bill that requires judges consider a parents sex-offender registration status when making custody decisions in Wyoming.
Requires the court to consider whether either parent has a conviction for which the parent must register as a sex offender when determining the best interest of a child in a divorce, separation or annulment of a marriage (Sec. 1).
Specifies that when considering an order for visitation that there is a presumption that it is not in the best interests of a child to grant unsupervised visitation to a parent who is required to register as a sex offender (Sec. 1).
