Title: Amends Existing Law Making Manufacturing or Possessing Meth an Act of Child Endangerment
Vote to amend and pass a bill that makes manufacturing or possessing meth, fentanyl, or carfentanil an offense of child endangerment in the first degree in Missouri.
Establishes that unlawfully manufactures or attempts to manufacture compounds, possesses, produces, prepares, sells, transports, tests, or analyzes to now include fentanyl and carfentanil as an act of child endangerment (Sec. 1).
Establishes a violation of this as a class B felony (Sec. 2).
Establishes that a person sentenced under this shall not be eligible for conditional release or parole until he or she has served at least five years of imprisonment. (Sec. 2).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 3).
